I am using on-board ATI HD3200 and ATI HD4670 display card.
Both TV and video card report they are @1920X1080, the signal thru HDMI and should be digital (one on one matching to LCD). Are you using D-sub(VGA connector) connect to your TV?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06300218015121423649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21211810.post-68866398867805746432010-01-03T21:18:52.443-06:002010-01-03T21:18:52.443-06:00This has everything to do with your video drivers....This has everything to do with your video drivers. I'm on an ATI card with dvi -> hdmi and it works perfectly, dot by dot, filling the screen nicely with no overscan. What you are seeing are the drivers trying to compensate for overscan. You should be able to disable it. I know I had to do this with one of my pc's that had an nvidia card in it.ARoganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01035010559491536662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21211810.post-9122142283052111862010-01-03T15:00:41.715-06:002010-01-03T15:00:41.715-06:00Sorry to bother you, ARogan,

It appear four black frames surround the window area. I check all setting in windows and it report running 1920X1080 and even the TV's info report 1920X1080@60hz.
If PC input from D-sub connect, the display will just like TV without any black edge. I wonder whether you encounter any of this situation and do you have any suggestion?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06300218015121423649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21211810.post-66215047789054104692009-01-29T18:49:00.000-06:002009-01-29T18:49:00.000-06:00Hey ARogan, do you have your 360 set to expanded o...Hey ARogan, do you have your 360 set to expanded over VGA? Im curious as I am doing a lot of experimentation. Most people claim that Sammy's should be set to HDMI Black level: low when using the 360 over HDMI. I have found that setting it to normal on reference level standard gives a great picture otherwise low will crush blakcs regardless of what reference level is set or current callibration.Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06455705301203640054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21211810.post-44806831096996887692009-01-29T11:17:00.000-06:002009-01-29T11:17:00.000-06:00Jake, I'm still using the same settings that I pos...Jake, I'm still using the same settings that I posted above.ARoganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01035010559491536662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21211810.post-4840259742038945942009-01-28T11:43:00.000-06:002009-01-28T11:43:00.000-06:00So have you made any changes to your calibrations ...So have you made any changes to your calibrations lately?
