I read through your info about the game pad working, but I got comfused. So will a ps2 dance pad plugged into the ps2 controller to usb unit which is then pluged into the ps3, work with ps2 DDR? I hope that made sence.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14783493445674037215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21211810.post-84167529784896764822006-12-29T22:48:00.000-06:002006-12-29T22:48:00.000-06:00I swapped the original 20GB hard drive with Toshib...I swapped the original 20GB hard drive with Toshiba 1234GSX. Formatted capacity in PS3 is only 97GB.

I also tried PC USB joystick. It's kind of usable because not all PS2/3 gamepad functions are on joystick.

As for using PS2 gamepad on PS3, it only works with PS3 games, not PS2 games. Someone said the Logitech USB gamepad for PS3 also doesn't work with PS2 games.

Maximum USB storages mountable in PS3 is 4 devices.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13486185216595727109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21211810.post-53637236409430407582006-12-29T00:46:00.000-06:002006-12-29T00:46:00.000-06:00clement, thanks for the additional info and testin...clement, thanks for the additional info and testing.ARoganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11898982977003068200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21211810.post-36744046207049164862006-12-27T19:35:00.000-06:002006-12-27T19:35:00.000-06:00Looks like PS2/USB gamepads work only with PS3 gam...Looks like PS2/USB gamepads work only with PS3 games. I plugged XFX Playstation 2 Game Controller D...Hi,

I plugged XFX Playstation 2 Game Controller Dual Reflex GamePad bundled PS2 to USB adapter to my PS3 and it works great. I got it from Buy.com for $2 after rebate.

It also works with 3rd party PS2 gamepads. I do have to assign my PS3 Sixaxis to port 2 before the PS2 gamepad will work as the primary controller. It seems Sony already programmed PS3 to understand PS2 gamepad functionality and probably plans to sell the PS2 to USB adapter later.

I also have Super Joy 5 Pro PS2 to USB adapter but it doesn't work properly. X becomes O.

Since my PS2 is the 20GB model, I plugged my Dell 2405 into it using Component Video at 1080i. I used PS2 component video cable which works great. The integrated memory reader on Dell LCD screen works with PS3.

I plugged an external 80GB USB laptop hard drive to my PS3, and play photos, music and movies from the hard drive.

I'll be replacing PS2 20GB hard drive with 120GB SATA laptop hard drive.

vortex3d@hotmail.comUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13486185216595727109noreply@blogger.com
